Three local businesses become Presenting Sponsors at the 2014 Aurora Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner to be held November 5th, 2014.

It didn’t take long for local businesses to jump to support the 2014 slate of Inductees when sponsorship opportunities were announce by the Aurora Sports Hall of Fame Cornerstone Committee. In the first two weeks of the sponsorship campaign, Gardner, Miller, Arnold Law firm and Dusty Miller Landscaping offered to sponsor the Induction of Peter Miller (posthumous) and the long-time Aurora automobile dealership Highland Chevrolet, Buick, GMC Cadillac offered to sponsor Inductee, Ben Steenhorst. Likewise St. Andrew’s College announced their sponsorship of 2014 Inductee Greg Hotham.

Nancy Black, Chairperson of the Cornerstone Committee, was happy to hear the news from her Committee saying,” these early sponsorships are a good sign that the local community supports the celebration of sport history and the accomplishments of our 2014 Inductees.” She continued, “all of these sponsors expressed an interest in making this year’s Induction Ceremony achieve the same success as the Inaugural event.”

Four of the six Inductees now have sponsor and the Cornerstone Committee will be discussing sponsorship opportunities for two more Inductees in the next few weeks. Inquiries for sponsoring Inductees, sponsoring tables for the Induction Ceremony or to become a “friend” or “booster” of the Aurora Sports Hall of Fame are welcome.
