Mike Palmateer

Palmateer wore these goalie pads while playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 1983-84 season. Due to a reoccurring knee injury, this ended up being his last season of professional hockey. When Palmateer played in 2017 Centennial Classic Alumni Game he used these goalie pads.

Description
The goalie pads have six leather straps that each connect to a separate metal buckle and run along the side of each pad. Along the bottom of the pad near the skate opening there is another buckle closure. The pads have considerable wear and have been modified by Palmateer over the years.
