ASHoF Photo Essay 2016 Winners Announcement April 12, 2016

The winners of ASHoF’s 2015/2016 Photo Essay Contest have been chosen.

This year’s contest was organized by ASHoF’s Education Committee, whose goal is to inspire students of all ages to be physically literate through educational activities connected to Aurora’s rich sports heritage and to the inductees of the Aurora Sport Hall of Fame. The Committee performed the difficult task of judging the submissions with the assistance of Karen Merk, of Merk Photography. Prizes for the contest were made possible thanks to funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, however in 2016/2017, the Hall of Fame is seeking a sponsor to support this inspirational initiative. The Winners will be invited to the upcoming Aurora Sports Hall of Fame Sponsor Appreciation Appeal.
