Jim was the Sport Chair for Golf during the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto. This photograph shows Jim posing with the two Gold Medalists from Columbia, Marcelo Rozo and Mariajo Uribe. The Golf Competition had high stakes and Jim recounts the importance of the event:
“Golf was included in the 2015 Pan am Games for the very first time and was held as a test event for the 2016 RIO Olympics where golf was returning as a sport for the first time in over 100 years. The competition was held at Angus Glen in Markham and featured both professionals and amateurs from the Americas. It was a wonderful event the Colombians won the Women’s, Men’s and Team Gold medals.”
