“When I went to Boston College to play basketball, I was relatively unknown and not much was expected of me at first.  I made Big East All Rookie team my freshman year and All Big East First team my sophomore year.  But by then I wasn’t a surprise anymore and expectations were higher and so was the defensive attention and pressure.  My junior year I suffered an injury that ended my season.  I got this trophy in my senior year, returning after an injury and living up to big expectations.”
