In 2008, Dave began the lengthy process of researching, planning, and advocating for a second full sized ball diamond. The process took over two years from concept to construction and in 2010, Aurora got its second full sized ball diamond – located in Stewart Burnett Park.
Dave would frequently go out at night to drag mats on his 1986 Honda 3-wheeler (“big red”) to ensure the field was ready for the players the next day.
